I am very satisfied with taking this medication it gets the job done.

I had very mild shigles. The pain was mild but I had a terrible rash for 5 years as a result of shingles. The rash was very itchy! This med helped me a lot!!

pain in hip associated with arthritis.

I was prescribed this medication for Bell's Palsey by a neurologist. I've never had this condition before, so unsure if it's working. I've read that Bell's goes away on its own w/ or w/o medication, so unsure why I'm taking a medication that I can't sleep while taking, will potentially make me gain weight and break-out like a teenager. It's not enough one side of my face is droopy, but I'll be fat w/ acne too??!!

Used this for treatment of stenosis flare up. Ibuprofen did not help. Pain relief was noticable by the next day. Pain is gone after regiment of 6 days. No side affects for me.

An ear, nose, throat dr prescribed this to try treating an inflammed and discolored tonsil.. It helped lessen infammation, and discoloration some, but a week after taking, I had nose bleeds, never had them before taking...went back to dr and was given a gel to put in my nostrils to help alleviate dried out sinuses. probably caused by medicine. Now dr recommends removing the tonsil, so guess it didn't work. possible abyss on tonsil

it caused spasms in my legs and back i will never take this again my breathing has not improves

The dosage what so much the first few days and you take it before then after certian meals. you really have to pay attention.I am getting the side effect of a severe stomach pain and my legs have been hurting me so bad. So I guess it didn't go to well for me

Are this steroids?

My neurologist gave this to me for migraines. Not only did it make me very nauseous, I couldn' sleep, I had back spasms. After I took them all, I couldn't control my legs and was unable to walk for a period of time without my husband's help. Never again. A horrible drug!!

My ear nose and throat doctor prescribed this to me to help with chronic sinusitus prior to sinus surgery. I can't realy tell a difference in my sinus, but I am terrible thirsty and my heart rate is fast and irregular at times. I can't sleep and feel dizzy. I'm done with the pack and you can believe I am never taking this again!

This medication was prescribed to "see" if I had Acid Reflux OR a chronic respitory problem OR infection of the larynix. The idea is to see what stops. Chronic cough and chronic green mucus when coughing. Don't know if it works, all I do know is after one day he coughing is worse, but the mucus production is down and the color is almost gone. I do ache all over, very tired and at times somewhat confused. Lost my voice, eyelid became swollen, and felt achy all over. Noticed my shoulder area started hurting more. But the swelling in my eye went mostly away after the 6 dose in the taper pack. Did notice harder to sleep and my voice returned after 2 days. always have been a predisone fan works quickly for me.

Got bitten on the hand by a mosquito or some sort of insect at an outdoors bbq. My hand swelled up the next day to 2x normal size and was hot, itchy and unconfortable. Doctor prescribed the 5 day methylpred pack and it worked. can't recall any side effects, slept normal and within 2 days my hand went nack to normal size.

Carpltunnal surgery, after 2 months the hand was swollen and the incision was still red Also I was having mussel spasms. The drug did not seem to help.

My mother is on the same medicine for her arthritis, and I'm not it for a severe allergic reaction. She told me that one of the side effects of this drug is weight gain. Urghhh, I really hope I don't gain weight.

I went to my allergist, My eyes were swollen,and red from the pollen, I had taken shots for 5 years off for two years,so he recommended methylpred,I took the first 6 tables, could not sleep the night, took 4 tables the second day have not slept in two days, But the red and swollen eyes, have gone away!!! I am not going to take any more.

Doctor recommended methylpred for my 7 year old. 4mg. She took the 6 pills the first day and had trouble sleeping. medication warns about insomia, so I was patient and continued the second day with the 5 pills. At night my daughter woke up crying and having muscle spasm and bone pain. Uncontrolled movements of the lower body and made her scared and miserable. This medicine slows growth in children. I am having a hard time accepting the fact that the doctor gave this medicine to a 7 year old to treat cough. I am not using the rest of it. It is the only thing that works for poison ivy rashes. I had to take 2 decadron shots as well. This med seems to be really helping. I am not sleeping as well, tho.
