300MG 2x a day for 10 days I'm early at writing a review as I'm only four days into my medication, and I will be back to update. But I wanted to inform (WARN) you that this medication also causes bad gas from the southern hemisphere! Good Gracious!

My husband was in the hospital for 3 days with pneumonia in both lungs due to an infectious organism. After being treated with IV antibiotics for the 3 days, he was doing well and both lungs were clear. On the third day, he was released with a prescription for cefdinir 300 mg twice daily for 9 days. He complained about being exceptionally tired, and could barely do anything without lying down to r...

My 3 1/2 year old daughter was prescribed this drug for an ear infection. The ear felt better after one day but on the 4th day she complained of an itchy butt. I didn't see this side effect listed and wondered if it is a result of the medication. She is normally a good sleeper and not a complainer but woke up several times in the night because of the itch. No visible rash on the outside. She says it itches on the inside.

My 5yr.daughter had a cough that would not go away and was given this and in return she became ill with severe diarrhea, which has not gone away even with treatment with Metronidazole. She is on her second treatment with that and she is not fully back to normal. I would not give this to any child!!!! The cough is gone but what this medicine did to her inside I will never really know.

My 5month old son was put on this medicine for an ear infection. He also had red stool that resembled blood. He also had severe abdominal cramping as well as diarrhea and vomiting. He had to be admitted to the local children's hospital for dehydration and weight loss. I do not recommend this medicine for any children.

My 3 year old started showing signs of a UTI. We were prescribed CEFDINIR at 4.5ml for 10 days. On the 5th day of dosing she started experiencing abdominal pain\discomfort, nausea and vomiting. All throughout the night her side effects persisted. The UTI symptoms seem to have subsided, but now my concern is the side effects. I'm unhappy with this drug

This medication was prescribed to my 5 year old daughter to be used once a day for 10 days at 6.25ml for a cold, fever, rash that did not seem to subside for a week. Since my daughter's intake, she has had 2 stools that were red in color, and appeared to have blood in them. Very unusual, as she has never experienced this before.

I have been taking this medication for 4 days now and I still feel the same. It has only soothed my sorethroat and stopped the ringing in my ear. However I am still really congested and coughing constantly. I also get lightheaded when standing and I have dry mouth. Im not so sure this was the best medication for me...

My doctor prescribed this medication for my pharyngitis. I also have a sinuf infection as well. I have been on it for a full week, do not feel any better. I wish I asked for my tried and true Augmentin. That alwasys seems to do the trick. Between the nasal drip and the associated coughing, I have yet to sleep through a night. I will say this much, Tylenol is doing a better job than Advil for the associated pain from my sore throat.
