I have IBS, but only sometimes, my mom took this drug years ago, I can take 2 pills and have a decent bm. I may go several times but at least I'm not constipated. Probably take once a week or less.

My experience with Correctol has been favorable. Just have to watch your timing when taking it. There is slight cramping when it starts to work. I have felt much better afterwards.

A couple hours after taking this, I woke up sweating, disorientated, and had severe cramping, vomiting and diahhrea, that has carried over to the next day, it was horrible!

I caught a virus that caused severe diaharrea and i took imodium to cease with the pooping and about a week and a half later i stil hadn't had a bowel movement so i took correctol just ease my stool, but it cause such bad stomach cramps, and lots of vomitting and more diaharrea. I was sick for hours after taking this medicine. It was so bad, that i was treated for dehydration and pain medication to deal with cramps. That was my first time trying correctol and i will never use it again or recommand it to anyone.Read More Read Less

I took the medicine to assist with infrequent bowel movements. To my surprise not only did I experience severe cramping, but I was nauseated and vomited several times. I had the worst experience using this product. Will never use it again and would not recommend it to anyone. I only took 2 tablets.

I used to take Correctol back in Febuary and March of 2007 for occasional constipation. This was before I developed Chronic Constipation. I would take 1 tablet at night or one tablet in the morning usually after I ate a meal. It was very effective in the beginning. I usually would have a bowel movement within 6-12 hours. This laxative definetly causes naseau before it causes a bowel movement just like Dulcolax. Not intended for longterm use. Do not use more than a week. Can cause diarrhea and bloating. I definetly recommend this laxative for occasional constipation and overnight relief. Read More Read Less
