I get S I joint pain that feels like a tooth ache . After the shot , next day back to normal. It has been years of this about 1-2 times a year .

Please be careful when doctor suggests injecting you with Depo Medrol. This steroid is not approved for epidural steroid injection in your spine whether it be for herniated discs or back pain. Physicians get paid quite a lot to administer this drug but it has caused many serious permanent side effects and even deaths. My doctor said this drug was to carry me over until the plaquenil kicked in (about a month). It's a simple, relatively painless shot in the gluteus max.

after the 1st shot I didn't feel too bad, however a month later after my second injection, I had terrible migraines, lasting over 2 weeks. I also have not had a period for over 2 months since getting the injections and have had terrible acne. I have herniated discs on C 5 and 6.
