I am 26 years old and have been suffering from toenail fungus for 6 years. It started with one bad toe from a bad pedicure. I ignored the one toe and it spread to 3 other toes. I have tried the topical polish for years and spent a great deal of money on laser treatment, none of these treatments worked. This year it spread to my big toe and I could not longer take it! I am almost in my third month ...

My first dosage ingested at 2pm on full stomach. a hour walk followed. at 5pm had 1 bottle of light beer. 9pm had pizza dinner. 10 pm face feels numb/swollen (i.e. not normal). kind of worries me.

I've been taking this for just under 3 weeks; no problems until 1 day shy of 3 weeks. Started with my elbows/arms and knees itching. Then later in the day my hands and feet began to itch, swell, and burn. Much worse in my hands, hard to make fist because hands were so swollen. Stopped taking immediately and called doctor.

I have been taking terbinafine for about 6 weeks and have notices a lot of small bumps on my elbows and knees which itch a lot. Also some other skin itchiness has just started earlier this week. I will check with my Dr. at the next appt. to see if the Terbinafine is causing the bumps and itching or whether its from this medication.

I've been taking this for a month, I have 2 months left..... I have not seen a noticable change at all. I have not experienced any side effects due to the medicine. I hope when I'm done, all the white spots are gone!

I had a bad fungal infection in two toenails for a long time. I took Terbinifine (generic Lamisil and much less expensive than Lamisil) for 3 months and the infection is almost completely gone. Also, I had no noticeable side effects. I highly recommend this treatment.

Today is Nov 11 and I have been taking one pill each day since Oct 6. I noticed about a week ago, an itch in my hands and feet. It is so irritating. It's like the itch is on the inside and I can't scratch enough to satisfy it. The itch is beginning to move to my arms and the back of my knees. I don't have a rash or see any bumps or have dry skin. I have decided to stop the treatment. The itch is too annoying and unbearable. I'd rather live with the infected toe nail. My ratings for effectiveness and satisfaction are not true statements because I'm not completing the treatment of 12 weeks.Read More Read Less

Information from your website>>> Are Yeast Infections Contagious? Yeast infections are not contagious My understanding is that Yeast Infections are highly contagious, both my husband and I are treated when I have a yeast infection...why does your website say that they are not contagious?

I have been taking terbinafine for 6 weeks. The pain in my nails are gone but cant tell by looking yet. I have had joint pain in my hips but never put the 2 together until now. I don't see this anywhere as a side effect but do see it listed by another person who rated this medicine. Does this pain last long after stopping the medicine?

I've had serious side effects from this medication including loss of appetite, trouble sleeping, headache, dizziness, drowsiness and stomach problems. It is strange that I didn't have these symptoms when taking Lamisil two years ago. I had to stop the medication after just one week because my overall health and wellbeing are more important than curing a toe fungus!

My father used this couple of months agao. it cleared up his infection but his liver is badly damaged. His platelet count is low (one of the side effects of liver damage) and he awaits a battery of test and treatments. The doctors said it is due to terbinafine. I rather he had nail fungus...

I have an itchy rash which developed while taking this drug, on my face, neck, chest and back. Is this one of the possible side effects of this drug? is this a sulfa based drug?

I've been taking this for 1 month and notice a marked improvement in my skin. All of my symptoms from the infection are greatly reduced. I have no apetite, which I thought was pretty cool until I just read that it could be a symptom of liver disease - yikes!
