never had a problem with this medication (Quinapril)I take this medication for Hypertension and it it keep me in check

the medication somewhat helped my high blood pressure issues yet caused a sporadic dry cough then blood clots in my legs then lung problems to the point where my lower lung lobes failed to move air. My oxygen levels on the medication were insufficient. I have not had breathing difficulties in the past. I have been off the medication for a week and am recovering lung function - very scary business.

I am taking 40mg of the above mentioned drug and it appears to be working for what it has been designed to treat hypertension. Will this drug be on going or will I be able to stop taking it?
