I have been taking Norco for years for treatment of Fibromyalgia and RSD pain (plus a few other fun things). I have fairly severe nerve damage and the pain is horrendous without meds. Before I found a doctor who would actually treat my pain, I wanted to give up. Taking the meds gave me back my life. I had to deal with the predjudice people have against people who take long-term pain meds and had t...
makes me puke and sweat and itch and dizzy, I keep telling the doctor to give me vicodin and when I get my script home, it is this stupid norco. what is wrong with my doctor, I have told him twice, now I have to pay for another script

I suffer from chronic Arthritis. I was put on Norco about two years ago. Generic versions are different for a fact. In my opinion, Watson puts out the most effective version. Can you become dependent? Yes. I depend on it to live a somewhat normal life now. I would not recommend to any narcotic to an addictive person.

I use this as needed for a long standing problem with my L. shoulder(had 3 surgeries)doctor says eventually will need replacement. Currently I have a herniated desk that is aggravated. If I take 2 of 10-325 I get a severe headache & vomiting, so I stick with 1 tablet twice a day.

I am waiting for a total knee replacement. I have stage 4 osteoarthritis and I only take these when the pain gets worse than my regular daily pain (7 on the 1-10 scale!). I have found that by only taking them when REALLY needed, they work best. But I take them as soon as I feel the first twinge, and it works best if I don't wait. I can't take the vicodin with more than 325mg of acetaminophen as it makes me sick to my stomach, so this is PERFECT.

I have been taking this drug for a year due to three broken bones in my lower back from a fall. It does help the pain but I have found my breathing has really suffered and makes me afraid when such little exercise leaves me out of breath. I am in the process of cutting back from 2 a day to 1/2 in the AM and other half at bedtime. Can anyone tell me will I get my breathing under control when I finally am able to ween myself off this drug?

it simply does not have enough kick for muscular, osteo, or nerve pain. I need Demerol but docs act like you have two heads.

This medication does not help with migraines. I am not sure why. But the medication is different then the hydrocodone I was getting before, and I see that it is called Norco which is different. Hope my doctor puts me back on what I was taking before.
