HORRIBLE!!! I have a mild YI from antibiotics. Applied this before bedtime and immediately the intense itching set in. SO ITCHY. I tried to wipe ot out. Still terrible. It's 1:30am and I just got out of the shower. I applied cortisone cream with aloe after the wash. It's now feeling like a warm, radiating sensation. Livable, but not good. I can feel my vagina hot and swelling. I'm afraid of what I will wake up to, but thankful that I think I will be able to get a little sleep now. DO NOT BUY THIS. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY ON THE OTHER STUFF IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! This medication surely hates vaginas. You have been warned.Read More Read Less

I had some minor itching and discharge consistent with vaginal yeast infection. I used this medication last night hoping to get some relief. I woke up today with red, inflamed, painful labia majora and labia minora. I am miserable. Don't use this product.

Unlike other people, I didn't experience burning or any itching at all! It did feel very very warm, but not painfully so. First thing to note though is that I didn't experience any irritation from the YI either. It was just leaked CONSTANTLY and was very very smelly--unbearably so--and had me running to the bathroom to wipe every hour or less. I took this last night right before bed, as instructed, and this morning, I woke up feeling fine down there. I did feel it getting moist and went to the bathroom and peed. A good bit of the medicine came out. Throughout the morning, more leaked out but it's completely tolerable and easily solved with a pad. It's been about 16 hours now and the warmth has completely died down and the leaking has stopped. As far as I can tell, the nasty yeast smell is gone. Awful! I used this last night and woke up this morning with severe itching and my vagina feels swollen. I'm debating going to a doctor because of the side effects.

I used this product and I am satisfied with the product. Some slight burning but bearable. I definitely use this product again

I used the medication around 2am and went right to sleep. I woke up in the morning with mild discomfort (mainly itching and a bit of burning). I showered and the itching and burning went away.

Used this product and it was one of the WORST experiences. I woke up completely swelled, red and irritated. It made my pain 20x worse.

Took and immediately felt itching which progressed into burning. I'm a medical student, so I looked up some information on this drug in one of our textbooks: According to the manufacturer 2-6% of patients experience burning and severe itching after use. According to 1 study 30% of patients experienced severe itching, inflammation, and even some vaginal irritation as CAUSED by the drug, this study compared to 5% of patients who used a 3 day clotrimazole treatment. So take it for what it is! if you can risk the 30% chance of the burn, then go for it, if not then take your time to get better. I certainly made my mistake!Read More Read Less

I am writing this almost an hour after use. I wish I had read these first because I would've used the one I am used to, I believe the drug monistat uses, but this one was cheaper. Yes, it itched really really bad for a long 30-45 mins, but I've had yeast infections before and it always hurts to treat it.. this one definitely hurt and itched a lot more, but I feel a lot better now thank god. The 3 stars are because I don't know if it worked yet.

THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE DRUG EVER INVENTED!! I had a minor yeast infection due to antibiotics so I decided to go to Walgreens and purchase this drug which I thought would be better than miconazole which I have used in the past with no issues. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. I woke up in the middle of the night, my labia minora swollen to 5x its normal size, itching/burning worse than any yeast infection I've ever had. Chunky yellowish-white clumps falling out of me and it seems to have made the infection 100x worse!!! I am currently in the fetal position with a fan pointed at my hoohah desperately trying to get any sort of relief. Planning on going back to the store for some miconazole here shortly if I can find it within me to get out of bed because of the pain. I used this product about an hour ago. It was an easy application and I thought all would be fine. Especially reading that there may be a mild burning or itching. I thought, 'it couldn't be worse than the itchy already burning sensation of the YI I had.' OMG WAS I WRONG!!!! The immense internal burning happened almost immediately!! I was crouched on my back, shaking and crying! I felt like I had to be rushed to the hospital, the pain was so intense! But I decided to wait it out some. The pain went away after about a half hour or so. I feel a slight burning sensation, similar to the one I was already experiencing before I took the medication. But the pain returned when I had to get up and use the restroom. It's gone again. I've read the other reviews stating that leakage happens the next day making being out impossible and there is swelling. I hope hope hope this does not happen! Started with a pretty mild yeast infection from taking an antibiotic.. Two days later and it is ten times worse after using this product. I'm experiencing intense itching, irritation, and swelling.

OH HEAVENLY FATHER. I just used this product maybe 20 minutes ago or so. I honestly think I'm going to cry. I know I'm not going to get any sleep tonight. Basically I've had this yeast infection for like a weak or so. It was caused by taking some antibiotics, which sadly usually happens to me. I usually use store brand 7 or 5 day treatments & they always work just fine but this time I wanted to try something that would give me quicker relief. I'd honestly rather LIVE with a yeast infection for the REST OF MY LIFE than use this stupid product again. My poor little va jay jay feels like its on FIRE. I don't know what to do with myself. Tried this product over the weekend to cure a mild yeast infection and it did nothing. I had all the symptoms of a yeast infection but this product did not work. So I waited a few days to see if it was less harsh in its curing process over the miconazole cream I usually buy and NOPE still had a yeast infection. From now on I'm sticking with the miconazole cream!

I was hesitant to buy/use this product and I WISH that I had listened to my instincts and put it back on the shelf at Walmart. I also wish I had read these reviews on WebMD!!!! Well, the INTENSE burning and itching started 5 minutes after inserting the product. Crazy feeling. I was WORSE OFF than the mild itching I was experiencing prior to use. The intense itch and burn did subside after two hours but I woke up with a SUPER RED HOO-HA that was swollen like a feather pillow. I remained that way until yesterday. I've used miconozole many times before without issue, but this was on sale and my cheapness got the best of me. I too had the most insane burning and itching within a few hours of putting in the product. My swelling was thankfully mild. Forget sleeping, I spent the night in the shower trying to push it out and wash it out. It's been 24 hours now and I'm still miserable, far worse than any yeast infection (and if you're reading this you know how hellish those are.) I probably washed it out too soon to be effective so now I have to wait for the pain to go down and buy miconozole, a much better medication in my experience.Read More Read Less

the itching and burning was so bad, it woke me up from a sound sleep. i do not think my symptoms are better at all. I will not use this product again.

This was my first time using the 1 day treatment for my yeast infection. I must say that I am completely satisfied with the product. At first, it did itch and slightly burn a little, but as time went on it subsided tremendously. I would definitely refer this product to anyone who has a yeast infection.

Still waiting for the treatment to run its course, but so far so good. I have chronic, horrible yeast infections that many other products can reduce the symptoms but not cure. I'm hoping this one will do the trick for me... as homeopathic cures only go so far. My itching, burning, and swelling was extremely intense before using the product. I used the product before bed, and for a few minutes the symptoms intensified, but seemed to work overnight. I'm still sore but the itching has stopped not even 24 hours later. When the leaflet says that you might experience an increase in itching after use, what they mean is 'the itching will be so intense that you will awaken from a sound sleep wanting to claw off your skin'. Less than 24 hours later, so it's tough to know if it's actually killed anything other than my sleep. But even if it has, I'm going back to the other stuff. This review is for the store-brand version of the 6.5% cream, not the huge-dose ovule.
