I put my cell phone a a re-occurring alarm. this allowed me to remember to take the pill everyday and at the exact time everyday. My periods were very consistent and light. No kind of cramping or pain. It did not make my acne worse. It worked really well for me.

I began taking sprintec in october. I immediately started to get headaches quite often. I never got headaches before. I have not gained weight, but rather lost 5 ibs. But I also work out and eat extremely healthy. I have had break-thru bleeding for a full month now. That is no fun. As well as loosing my sex drive at times. The product works, but the side effects are awful. Downfall, it is cheap. But if it means stopping all these headaches, then I may stop taking it.

I have always been a very happy go lucky type of person. While taking this, although cheap, I felt depressed and I had horrible pms. I never normally got it bad before, but I was down in the dumps and crabby as ever. I have switched, we will see what happens.

This birth control worked very well for me. The first month however I missed my period and had stomach cramping on occasion, but after the first month I had no problems with it. It's affordable and effective.

I began taking this medication 3 months ago, and the 2nd day of taking it I got nauseous. Ever since that day, I have not experienced any bad side effects. I think the nausea came from taking it on an empty stomach. I have been taking it with food, and I have been just fine. My cycle comes like clock work now, better than they had ever been because I was use to having one every 2 months. I would say overall this medication works for me.

Cheap, no side effects other than missing my first period, which is normal. I've been on it for about 1 year.

I have been on several types of BC. This one takes the cake as the worse one. My face broke out in full-blown acne. This is coming from a person who has never had acne. This drug is very cheap, and I did not get pregnant on it...but that is about it.

At first, I had difficulty with breast tenderness and nausea, but this was the first birth control medicine I had ever tried. After a few months my body did adjust; however, I have experienced weight gain. I'm not sure if it is due to the medicine or to college eating habits. Possibly both. Overall, it is cheap and effective for its purpose.

I've been taking the pill for a few months now and I've noticed a total change from my last pill. Complete loss of sex drive! Sore breasts, not to mention nausea as well. My acne did improve slightly.

I have was on the same birth control for 9 years and I recently switched to sprintec for insurance reasons. I have definitely noticed a weight gain. About 10 pounds in one month. I have not changed anything else in my daily routine and my weight usually doesnt vary. Other than that I have had a few headaches. I will be switching very soon.

I just want to know if anyone out there who has taken this pill has experienced tender/growing breasts. I've only taken 2 months worth and the past month has been very painful.

I took the Sprintec Birth Control Pills for 3 and ½ years. I started taking it one month after my first daughter was born to prevent unwanted pregnancy. It worked. I never got pregnant. But what didn’t work is all the side effects that come with it. My OB/GYN never told me about any of this. He prescribed it and that was it. I didn’t know one little tiny pill could wreck so much havoc in my life. I was depressed, very moody, irritatable, low libido and could not loose weight. I thought I had post-pardum all this time. I was tired all of the time. I was very, very emotional. I would cry at the drop of a hat. My husband thought I was crazy and we separated. I was seeing a psychiatrist for depression and they prescribed anti-depressants, which I didn’t take. Nothing I did could lift this “fog on my brain.” It wasn’t until I stopped taking the pill while my husband and I were separated, that I felt normal again. I felt like my old self. My sex drive came back. My husband noticed it immediately, “I finally got my wife back!” I will never take the pill again! It is not worth it. Read More Read Less

Just the thought of taking this drug makes me ill......I was only able to take it for one week before I had to discontinue. I had the mother of all headaches and the nausea. I remember crouching on the bathroom floor and vomiting so much that at one point I was bringing up bright red blood....sorry to all you squeamish. I would prefer to undergo a hysterectomy rather that take one more tablet. This BCP is AWFUL and the nausea is out of this world. Cheap is not always good.

I have never wanted to eat more in my life. I am bloated, I have broken out and depressed. I have not thrown up in 8 years but I feel like I could almost every night.
