I put my cell phone a a re-occurring alarm. this allowed me to remember to take the pill everyday and at the exact time everyday. My periods were very consistent and light. No kind of cramping or pain. It did not make my acne worse. It worked really well for me.

The side effects of this birth control are horrible. I have experienced the nausea, bloating, painful periods, and the depression. The depression is the worst. I have also gained 12 pounds in the 2 months I have been on this med. I am definalely going to switch.

I have been so sick, a constant headache, dizzy, and nauseous from this pill it is unbelievable. I went to the doctor because they were afraid I was becoming anemic I was so dizzy and light headed. I have had to miss school and work because I have been so sick from this pill and really fatigued. Didn't realize this was why until I looked up the side effects. I have been on it for a month and a half and I am done with it.

I have just finished my first pack of Sprintec and noticed that about 1 week after starting the pill I begin to get bloated and remained bloated. I've also gained 5lbs in one month and haven't changed anything in my diet or exercise plan. I've heard that sometimes it takes your body a few months to adjust to a newpill and then the symptoms will go away. Has anyone had these symptoms of bloating and weight gain on Sprintec and did it go away? On a positive note, I've experienced no increased acne or nausea. I've actually noticed my skin improving.Read More Read Less

OK, so I am not into taking medications, however, I don't want to get pregnant. I do not have insurance, so after trying Femcon and not being happy I switched to this medication. I have bleed more every month than I even have. I was able to lose some of the weight I gain, but have stalled. Also, I am experiencing more headache and vision changes than I did before BCP's. I am going to switch because I can not take much more of this.

I hate this medication. I was on ortho tri-cyclin for years but my insurance changed and my new insurance doesn't cover the tri-cyclin. I am exhausted, almost lethargic, on the placebo week of this brand. I never felt this way on the tri-cyclin.

I have been on this medication for three months and have experienced no improvements in my Acne. About the only thing this pill has done for me was alleviate my painful cramps- they don't hurt as bad but they last twice as long and my period seems to get longer each month I take it. I also experienced the nausea and abdominal pain that so many others have experienced. I'm going to request a different type of oral contraceptive from my doctor immediately.

I switched from Ortho-cyclen to Sprintec due to new insurance and affordable price of Sprintec. I am a very active person, but seem to be gaining weight, experience breast tenderness, and experience extreme nausea when traveling by car or plane to the point I feel like I need to throw up!! As soon as my last pack it done, I am switching back to Ortho. No one should feel like this!!

I have taken this drug for about a year. I took it after I tried having the shot which messed me up. I really hate this pill, I have mood swings, no libido, and my contacts are getting harder to wear(plus I have something wrong, I wonder if its due to the pill). I get nasea whenever I take it, like when it hits my stomach. I really hate the low libido part though. I'm considering taking something else.

i had the side effects of this medication..i had the adominal pain, the mausa and vomiting. it hasnt been fun let me tell ya!! i went to the hospital one night because of the pain in my side. my family thought maybe it was my kidneys. even the doctors thought it was saying it was possible kidney stones. so i drank alot of water..ickk..i started my period a week ahead of time so i stopped taking the pill till i could get ahold of my obgyn and ask if im to keep taking it when menstrating. i got an ok, so i took it in the morning. the whole day my side was killing me. at first i thought maybe it was just a hellish period, or passing kidney stones. later that night i looked up the side effects of this pill and found all my problems. this was just my reaction to this birth control though..next time ill be doing alot more research on a pill before i take it however!!! I took it only once, but that was enough to make me swear off it for the rest of my life. The nausea was incredible. It was very comparable to one time when I ate bad oysters. I slept for about an hour before I woke up with persistent nausea (11pm) that I couldn't rid myself of until I finally stopped vomiting at 6am. It was one of the worst nights that I ever had in my life. If you have another means of birthcontrol, use it instead!

I've been taking it for a month and a half now. It's helped my moods swings TREMENDOUSLY. BUT I noticed that during the first week or so each new pack, I get a very sensitive stomach and have diarrhea. Not for sure if this is directly related to the Sprintec. But it's the second time it's happened since starting them.

I was on Yasmin for years and decided to go with a cheaper pill. I guess you get what you pay for because after being on this for three weeks I had bloating, gas pain and weight gain. I would not recommend this pill to anyone.

I was on Ortho Tri pill and the patch in the past, never had the nausea. Since I started this pill, I wake up at night with nausea and have it through out the day. I will not take this one again.

I have been on Orthocyclen and Yasmin before with no side effects...took this only three weeks with bloating and cramping, gas pains, weight gain, breast tenderness. No mood changes and still effective, but being cheap is not worth feeling this way. Would not recommend.

After taking this pill for three months I began to experience head aches and blurry vision. A couple of days later a grey spot in my eye. they thought I was getting blood clots, now sending me to specialist and took me off the medication right away. they said these are very dangerous systoms.. I have felt pretty crappy the entire time that I was on this pill. I am a non smoker

This pill has been effective in preventing pregnancy, as I've been using it for about 4 1/2 mos now. However, I HATE having to take it because I get nauseous everytime I get ready to swallow the pill. I've also been much more moody than before. I've taken Ortho-Cyclen, which is supposed to be the same thing, for years & never felt this type of discomfort. Even though Sprintec is cheaper, I'll be switching back. No birth control method will be effective if I have to literally force myself to take it!!! Read More Read Less

Sprintec is effective in that I'm not pregnant but I've gained 6 pounds since starting it 3 months ago. I've experienced breast tenderness but no cramps.
