I put my cell phone a a re-occurring alarm. this allowed me to remember to take the pill everyday and at the exact time everyday. My periods were very consistent and light. No kind of cramping or pain. It did not make my acne worse. It worked really well for me.

This birth control is HORRIBLE! ! I have only been on it a month, but I have terrible mood swings, depression and sore breasts. Since it's only $9.00/month - I guess you get what you paid for. I will be switching back to Yaz! It's more expensive but worth it! !

I've been taking this pill for about a year now, and I have to say it has made me a basket case, constantly on an emotional roller coaster. Just recently I've also developed severe nasuea and stomach pain. Bust most importantly I think it has wrecked me emotionally every month. No weight gain, change in sex drive, and it is effective in preventing pregnancy. Everyone reacts differently, but I am so excited to switch off this pill!!

I switched from YAS to this pill because it is so much cheaper, but I'm ready to go back. I have always had horrible cramps and week long periods, and was told this would help with that and also dissolve my ovarian cysts. It was AWFUL! I was told to take it continuously so I would never have a period. Every woman's dream right? Well it had completely the opposite effect. I was having a period every week. 5 days on, 2 off. And they were so heavy I was going through an ultra tampon every hour. Cramps worse than ever before. I was so sick to my stomach and in so much pain I could hardly get out of bed. I lost so much weight simply because I couldn't eat cause every time I tried I got so nauseous. I couldn't even stand the smell of food without feeling sick. As far as preventing pregnancy, that worked. But when you're on your period that much you can't have sex. I can't orgasm anymore. It didn't help with my cysts, either. This is the worst pill to take. Spend the extra money on something that works. They need to just get rid of this one. It's not even worth its discounted price. Read More Read Less

This pill has been amazing for me. It has actually completly cleared up my acne and improved my moodiness. I've experienced no cramps or nausa, and have faced nothing but improvements...

Sprintec was great for me - except after about 8 months or so, I started having break-through bleeding. The breakthrough lasted for up to 3 months on and off at one point. I am now on Levlen, which has been great except for major acne breakouts! I just can't find a monophasic that works for the long haul. I feel like I switch pills every 12-18 months.

I've apparently had a hormone imbalance that has made most of my post-pubescent life a living hell! As soon as I began taking Sprintec I was happier, less moody, nicer to my loved ones, and felt the drive to actually take care of myself. I take my pill before I go to bed to sleep through any immediate side effects. I do notice some nausea if I don't get enough sleep, but taking it before bed really made the difference between intolerable side effects that I had on Sprintec the first time (took it at 2 pm). I'm on my 2nd pack of this birth control and have vomited twice in the last three weeks and have had a low sex drive. I too, switched for the price but I'm going back to Ortho Tri-cyclen Low. Sprinte should be banned-it's not a good birth control.

After reading the posts about this drug, I was afraid to see the reactions I'd have. But I have not had one side effect that anyone has posted. A little nausea the first 3 days or so, but that was expected. Since then (3 months ago) I've been completely fine.

I would rather be pregnant than on this pill. I feel like I am on an emotional roller coaster. I am constantly tired, depressed, and nauseas. I have been on this pill for 3 months trying to stick it out but symptoms have only gotten worse. It was successful in preventing pregnancy due to the fact my libido was drastically decreased. This pill just isn't for me.

I must say that I've been on this pill for almost 3 years and have had no problems with it, I actually switched from another bran to this one! I never had cramping before birth control and don't have any now, it's actually helped me be less moody before my period, and helped me not only loose weight, but help maintain it too. I did used to spot before any birth control and with my first two pills, but not with this one, and it's made my periods a little bit lighter. It's the same price as my previous pills, my only concern now (which has not really been looked into yet) is that I have had awful scalp psoriasis and it's spreading to the rest of my body, for about 3 years and am not sure if it is related to this or not, as it is the only same variable for that amount of time. I would suggest trying it, and if you're not happy, change it.Read More Read Less

I've taken other birth control pills and never had a problem. I decided to try Sprintec, because it it one of the $9 per month prescriptions offered at pharmacies. I've been taking it as it is directed for the past 8 months and still continue to heavily spot every month.

Although it did prevent pregnancy, there were a lot of unstated side effects. Like others, I have become very emotional, moody, low sex drive, tiredness, and weight gain. I have been on three other types of pills, and this is by far the worst with 'everyday' issues. I cannot wait to go back to my OB-GYN and get on a new pill.

I've been taking this pill for a little under 3 months. I've had massive mood swings and breast tenderness. I am switching to another pill after this pack. I do not recommend using this pill!! My fiance and I call it my "crazy"...
