was prescribed this medication for a UTI had a terrible allergic reaction, face swelled up, itching, tounge swelled

used it for conjunctivitis, worked very well.

Prescribed to me before cyst removal from shoulder. After two days both my hands were peeling badly and the condition just got worse and worse. Had to come off the drug, nothing else has effected me in that manner!

made the inflammation go down drastically within just 7 hours. so far the infection is going away. the pills smell and taste funny though.

Allergic to pencillin so my doctor put me on keflex. It clear up one infection but caused another on me. I had to stop taking it. Caused severe yeast infection of my eyes, nose, throat and ofcourse vaginal. Allergic to keflex.

I had surgery to remove a cyst, ans the wound became infected. Keflex has helped tremendously. Another person wrote "I took acidophilus and still had upset stomach..." You never, ever take any type of probiotic while on an antibiotic...DUH!

My eyes were matted shut with an infection. Also my throat is hurting. I think I have a sinus infection & this medication is not clearing it up. I was given eye drops & it cleared that part up.

Dermatologist prescribed this for acne. Took it for 5 months. It was completely useless in terms of clearing up my skin. Acne is not one of the listed uses for this medicine so maybe that is why it didn't work for me. Didn't have any side effects at all.

This medication was prescribed to my young daughter for an ear/throat related infection. The medication appeared to help the infection with a quick response time but it was at the cost of her enduring a severely upset stomache and complaints similar to that of acid reflux. Eventhough it was extremely effective, I don't think I will allow my child to be prescribed this medication again. Her stomach upset seems to be lingering eventhough she has been off the medication for a couple of days.

I have mrsa and this keflex has been the only anti bioatic that has worked for me plus the drainage which I have to get done able to get done myself with warm compress and this has worked with me

I really haven't been on this med long enough for an outcome it's just I wanted to find out more about this drug and what it os normally used for

I am alergic to penicillin so my doctor prescriped Keflex. I took one (1) pill and threw up all day. Guess I won't be taking this again. Good idea to remind doctor if you are alergic to any other antibiotics.

Took this for pneumonia - felt much better after 3 days of being on it. No side effects that I noticed.

This was prescribed for my 6 year old daughter. After 2 days of treatment her personality changed, becoming very mean and doing stange things, not her normal behavior. I stopped the medication immediately. Is this a side effect?

i have develope a dark brown rash around my mouth and i want to know if it could be because of the medication.

I was bitten by something maybe a spider on my ankle the doctor didnt know. I ended up with cellulitis of the ankle and tendon. it was so swollen, as soon as i started taking the keflex the swelling was down in a day and i had not one side effect from it. I was taking 500mg capsules 4 times a day.
