I suffer from degenerative osteoarthritis in my back, hips and knees and I am in constant pain. This medicine makes the pain tolerable to where I can continue working and having a somewhat normal life. Although it does not relieve the pain completely, I can certainly tell when I missed a dose.

I have vasomotor rhinitis, a chronic inflamation of the sinuses resulting in severe and constant headaches. This drug is one of the "cocktail" of drugs I take but seems to be very effective. The other effective one is Singulair. The relafen causes stomach problems which were well controlled by Nexium until Blue Cross Blue Shield decided they no longer wanted to provide Nexium. No other stomach medicine has been effective for me to overcome the effects of the Relafen and I really do need to take the Relafen. Nothing else has given me the relief the Relafen has.Read More Read Less

I take this medication for the arthritis in my back and for the pain after having back surgery. I was just taking a narcotic for the pain and it was doing ok but it was not enough. My doctor prescribed relafen and I take it and the narcotic and it helps me out alot more.

I have Osteoarthritis. My hands & left hip pain is very bad. Also have degenerative arthritis in my spine. I use the generic and it eases my pain quite well. I take Rabeprazole (Pariet) to counteract the stomach problems. I also know when I have missed a dose. I have tried other medications for these problems but this is the best.

Wow, at least with the pain meds I've gotten sick with, the hit was a quick on and the natural stomach process turned it right on out and I was able to go on. I took this relafen and about 2 hours later it hit and stayed with me 2 days plus. I have not been so sick from a medication, you talk about an enduring sickness too. As you can probably see, I had no benefit what-the-so-ever from this med and would not recommend it's use on any mammal past or present.

It worked great for my pain, unfortunately, I developed a rash and itching within two weeks of taking it. I did have some stomach upset, but not horribly bad, take with food or within 30 minutes of eating and the stomach upset didn't occur. I had to quit taking it because of the rash.

I have tried going off this drug on aeveral occasions and have returned to it because it works. The VA will not dispense it and suggest I use over-the-counter medication, but this seems to work best.

I use this for Chronic Hip Bursitis. I've tried several other anti-inflammatory drugs, and this keeps me pain free, and feeling "normal". There have been a few times, I've forgotten to take it. I'm reminded that same day with pain and limping. The only thing I don't like are the bruises that pop up for no reason. Right now, I have 5 on one arm, 2 on the other, and at least 8 between both legs. They're no larger than a half dollar, but I look like an abused woman. I need to let my Dr. know, but I'm afraid he'll take it away!Read More Read Less

This really seems to work well for my back pain from degenerative disk and arthritis. The only thing that concerns me is the warning label. may cause cardiovascular issues?? Yikes.

I fight with arthritis and fibermyalgia. Nothing would work unless I wanted to live life as a zombie. After 2 weeks I knew something was changed and I knew if I missed a dose. I love this medication it doesn't make me a zobie. I live life a lot better than before

It took a month to really get in my system but I would never stop taking it. I take 2 pills a day and definitely know when it's time to take the 2nd. Have been taking it for 13 months and have intermittent boughts with constipation and diarrhea.

I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. This drug in brand name form was successful in eliminating my pain and physical limitations. The generic form did not and I found it very disappointing.
