I love this birth control. I see a lot of bad reviews but I have been using it for over 4 years now and compared to others I have tried it is the best. For me, on this dose I have never gotten a period. Every few months I have very light spotting during the time the time one should have a period with this drug. My doc says it is fine, I do not ovulate on this med. I have never gained any weight on...
My old birth control was discontinued. I was taking it successfully for 4 years. I was prescribed this birth control instead. I was pregnant in less than one month. Beware!

I've just started this pill, after switching BCP's, but already two weeks into the pack, I'm noticing a change in my mood patterns (I started crying after losing a video game and wasn't out of my weepy state for hours). I honestly think I'm going to call my doctor to switch back.

When I'm supposed to come on my period, I never do, but like 2 weeks later, I'll start to bleed when I'm not supposed to. I've noticed that my hair has become very thin as well. I'm definitely switching from this medicine.

My doctor prescribed the med to be taken continuously. That results in no period, which is awesome. I was on ortho tri cyclen before and had lots of problems with break through bleeding. None at all with this medication. Web MD needs to fix their description, though. Kind of threw me for a loop when they said it was for hormone replacement therapy. I had to double check to make sure it was the same medicine and dosage.

I have been taking this med for about 9 mos. now and have only had 2-3 bleedings of 2-3 days each. Maybe they're periods, maybe stray bleeding. The doctor says it's nothing to worry about. I still get PMS symptoms, but no blood. That's what was making me itch. The doctor says I was allergic to my own menstrual blood. I am fixed, so birth control was never an issue. Weight gain has not been an issue with this med, but fainting and fatigue have. It's hard to remember to take one of those pills EVERY night even though I have reminder alarms everywhere. I also expect it has worsened my acid reflux and frequent stomach pain.Read More Read Less
