I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews on this birth control! I made the mistake when my doctor first put me on this BC pill to read reviews. I was so terrified to begin taking it but my doctor assured me I would be fine. (Previously I was taking Lo Loestra but my insurance no longer covered the cost). I had finally decided to take it, as I was beginning a new relationship and definitely...

I started taking Junel a month ago and now have started the first week of my second pack. The first month was okay: minor nausea, sore breasts, minor bloating. did not notice mood changes. not sure about my sex drive. I did not get my period during my placebo week. Now that I have started the second month I feel terrible! The most noticeable symptom is AWFUL BLOATING. 5 hours after I eat lunch ...

I switched to Junel FE 9 months ago and have had no side effects and no pregnancy! I would say that my sex drive increased as compared to my previous birth control pill.

I started Junel to take the place of Estrostep Fe, which is a triphasic or "low-dose" OC. Junel has caused me amenorhea, weight gain dispite diligent weight loss efforts, and stomach bloating and GI upset. I will switch back to the low dose OC.

Junel Fe has been pretty good for me. Its effective and the iron pills prevent me from being sluggish the week of inactive pills. I don't think I have had any emotional side effects or any other problems with it.

When I first started this birth control I had break through bleeding a week before my cycle, this went on for about 2 months. Now I have not seen a cycle in 3 months not even break through. I'm a little afraid this is not healthly but I called my GYN and she said I will be go. I read something about this women dying from a blood clot because she was on birth control that gave her fewer cycles. Anyone have any real answers.

i used this because it was suppose to give me 3 days of period. I'd get three days and then like very low beleeding for two more days. I got PMS almost throughout my cycle and there'd be months where i'd have no sex drive whatsoever. I'm switching now because my mood swings and sex drive on them are horrible
