caused some minor stomach upset but worked very well

I have taken 3 pills and I have tightness in my chest and an upset stomach that does not go away no matter what I take. Do not take this pill.

This medicine was simple enough to use and did its job well at clearing up the infection. But the side effects were by far the worst thing about this drug. Terrible side and stomach cramps/pain, loss of appetite, severe nausea for up to 5 hours after I took the pill. I also experienced sensitivity to light in all forms (phone, tv, sunlight...). Although the side effects were terrible to manage, it did its job and at the end of the day, that's what matters to me.

Prescribed for 10 days for bacterial pneumonia. Cough and wheezing has cleared up but have headaches everday and nausea and vomiting if I take on an empty stomach. Thankfully I am on day 10. Can't imagine taking this medicine long term.

I have a pseudonoma worm infection in my open sore wound on the left leg this medication makes me horny and energetic here with direha and tingling feet but i take it on a full stomach and the side effects are not that noticeable here and do not bother me here at all

It is a little difficult to use because it requires that you drink a lot of water with it (so I had to get up a lot at night) and you have to remain upright for a while. However, I had very few stomach problems while on it, just a little nausea. Dr. recommended I take a daily probiotic along with it (such as Align GI). That seemed to help. It did help with the infection but SLOWLY.

I was scared to take this medication at first, due to the fact that you have to take it with a full glass of water or you'll have esophagus issues. I was advised, to not take it before bed and to not lay down for 45 minutes right after taking the medication. I was advised to take it on a full stomach. I had the most horrible skin, my nose would continuously stay red and bumpy. At times, it was hard to hold a conversation with someone, because I thought they would focus more on my skin then my conversation. My nose and the area under my nose and around my mouth would flake and itch non-stop. I'm very happy to say, that my skin as never looked so good. My doctor prescribed doxycycline hydrate 100g twice a day while waiting for test results. The second day I woke up with headache ..still have it...swollen hands and severe arthritis in both hands. I had blood tests that showed I am anemic..was not before I took them...now May 9 2017 my left eye is bloodshot and my left hand has fever blisters and I am continually wringing them together as it helps with the stiffness of them. The doctor does not know what is causing these symptoms but it has to be this drug because that was when all these symptoms began. Be extra careful if you take this drug!!Read More Read Less

Severe pain in stomach. Tightness in chest. Tingling in hands and face. I'm 17 years old and thought I was going to die in my bed. Went to emergency and was told to immediately discontinue. These symptoms lasted for another three weeks. I was terrified it would never end. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

I was prescribed this medicine for acne, I can say it does work. Has some side effects, that's why I stop taking it but other than that the medicine is effective.

I have been using this drug for 2 months now and my face is pimple free - I did try to go off but am starting to break out again so not sure how long I can be on it without any issues.

I was given 100mg 2xday for 10 days. I'm almost done with the medication. Easy to use and no side effects. I have GERD and take omeprasole, so it may be protecting my stomach. I'm allergic to almost all antibiotics, so I'm glad to find another that I can take without side effects. This medication took care of my sinus infection by day 4. Very satisfied.

felt like reflux and difficulty swallowing

I have chronic allergy which has over time generated a list of antibiotics that I can't take b/c of side effects thst mainly affect my stomach. This one was new for me.I tried taking without food as directed and had extreme nausea, stomach pain and headache. Took with food and had same reaction. Took 2 hours after eating and had same reaction. Could take at bedtime and didn't experience nausea or stomach pain but woke with headache. Don't recommend it if you have existing stomach issues.

I was given this medicine for a sinus infection. I was unable to sleep for 3 days after taking this medicine. I had to discontinue for this reason, as I felt like I would die without sleep. The doctor said he had not heard of anyone having this reaction, but I have read at least one post on someone else having this program. It may work well for most people, but if you start taking and can't sleep you may want to stop and change to something else. I have trouble sleeping anyway(can't stay asleep, usually fall asleep quickly), so I didn't think it was caused from medicine. But after 3 days of no sleep, I knew the medicine must have been the problem. I still had some trouble after stopping for a few days, but was able to get some sleep.Read More Read Less
