I've tried enablex and detrol LA before without total success. With vesicare, I am extremely dizzy all day. I can deal with the dry mouth - but I am having trouble dealing with the dizziness.

I've been taking this medication for several months. I am ecstatic because I no longer "wet" the bed at night & I don't have "accidents", like starting to urinate before reaching the commode. Yes, I've noticed some water retention, but no constipation. Overall, I'm happy with the product

Prescribed for chronic pelvic pain, after tricyclic antidepressants for pain control caused severe side affects. Vesicare caused fatigue, eye pain and severe gastric problems, including heartburn, acid reflux, bloating, gastric retention and constipation. It blocked the pain but side affects were worse.

Fingers quite puffy and seem to be retaining water- difficulty in wearing wedding ring. Very dry mouth.

Maybe more frequencpy than when taking 1/2 the dose.

It has helped with my overactive bladder, but it has caused constipation. I'm not sure I will be able to continue taking it because of this site effect.

I have been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis and overactive bladder with regular visits to the bathroom about 2 an hour. This medicine I took 20 mg at bedtime and it helped me sleep better and overall it did help my need to get in and out of bed numerous times throughout the night. I went from 5 times to 2 a night! HOWEVER... I did develope hives from this medicine... red itchy large hives and they were horrible to deal with so I had to discontinue the medicine. My hives have since gone away! I was having bladder spasms that were extremely uncomfortable. It took a few weeks, but they then stopped and I have been fine for about a year. What a relief!

same thing happened to me and i think this is a VERY important note to inform people about! after being on medication for about 3 weeks, i'm getting severe swelling in legs, feet & hands (can't even get my rings on and off!) i'm retaining so much water! i'm stopping all medication - i think i'm better off just going back to the way i was - running to the bathroom every 15 minutes!

I have been on this med for some time now and at the beginning it was fine no side effects but as of today I am retaining fluid in my legs and feet and it is very uncomfortable. I called my doctor and they told me to stop using it right away and I have an appointment tomorrow to be checked out. I have also experience dry mouth upset stomach and headaches.

It works BUT an accidental overdose simulated symptoms of A MINOR STROKE. the mind "lost it". Amnesia. (two days)

Does not seem to slow the number of times.Up 5-6 times at night. Constipation a major factor

Medicine has caused my eyes to dry out and constipation.

this works for me better than detral, enablix or oxibutin...so far so good

Did not help the problem. Made me sick with vomiting, diarreha, rash, hives, difficulty breathing, chest pressure. Never been allergic to anything before until now.
