I ahve chronic constipation because of IBS since I was 20 years old and I am now 41. I have tried everything offered to me to remedy this problem. Nothing has ever worked like Amitiza has. Finally, I have relief and an answer.

It is an easy medication to take and works well. One thing that is very good about this medication is that it works but does not cause symptoms like diarehea.

Definately allows for relief but definately with a noticeable inpact on other systems. Must be at home all day to use I notice increased heart rhthym and some naseau but not as bad as the naseau from complaint

If I take it as prescribed I get very watery stools. I am still trying to find the best dosage for me. But I also experienced nausea but not too bad. It is very difficult to take it at the same time each day.

extreme nausea, makes you feel like you have a stomache virus. if i have to take it i am in bed all day. if you can get past that it works well.

Extreme nausea, headaches, dizziness etc. All the bad side effects. Had to stop after 2 pill.
