Worked great for my urinary flow and output. I felt like I had completely emptied out. Did not do much for the frequency especially during the nighttime. Could not have an orgasm or ejaculate. A real negative especially considering the improvement in urination. Discontinued the drug and going back to the Doctor to see what can be the next step.

Never have I been so inflicted with a rash, among other things while providing absolutely NO relief for my prostate problem!! I was bed-ridden for over a month after taking only two pills, one each on consecutive days. I would recommend giving everyone associated with this medication a minimal dose, as I took, and check their reaction!!!! I would not subject any enemy I might have to this torture!!!!

By accident (forgetting to take it for 2 weeks), i discovered it had been causing my gynocomastia (my severe itching of breasts stopped). Also my fatigue. Huge renewal of energy. The timing of onset of gynocomastic and taking rapaflo (silodosin) was exactly perfect for causation.

During the winter, I began the experiences of a weak stream, hard start in urination and dribbling. Went to the urologist and he gave me two week sample of Rapaflo along with the warning of light headiness and maybe some dizziness - which I didn't experience either one of these side affects while taking this drug. Yet, the positive side is that three days after the implication of the drug (one a day at evening during a meal), my problems of urination ceased giving me the satisfaction of a more relaxed urination. My doctor wanted me to try this medicine instead of the others knowing of the huge side effects those could impose on me. Luckily, my insurance coverage was good enough to where my O.O.P. on this medication was only $175.00 for a three month supply. Thx and good luck to all !!Read More Read Less

Slept through the night from the first dosage . No ejaculate from day me. No thank you. Tied tamsolusin. With the same results. Have also tried cialis. Wonder drug. No side effects, very effective; however only 8 pills a month are covered by insurance, so the out of pocket cost is over $200 a month . I will keep trying alternatives until I find one with no side effects.

I am 68 and still sexually active. Took Rapaflo for 2 days and there was no ejaculate at orgasm. Continued taking it for 4 more days with no noticible difference in urine frequency or force. Took myself off it after a second lousy sexual experience. Besides no ejaculate, not much feeling either.

I'm taking Rapaflo in place of Flomax. Flomax had a lot of side effects. The worst was the lightheadness or dizziness I incurred with Flomax. Rapaflo also causes dizziness and I intend to use it every other day only. Rapaflo does help me with getting up to urinate at night, from 4-6 to less than 3 times. The drug is rather expensive. I'm only at the start of the tx, taken it for three days, hopefully I'll have good results.

I am still having urination problems 6 months after prostate cancer radiation treatment. Flomax upset my digestive system, Rapaflo does not. Dry orgasm just like Flomax.

Started Rapaflo beacuse of weak urinary stream and discomfort when starting to urinate. The med immediately removed the discomfort. Stream is still weak though maybe a little better. Get up only once a night, sometimes none. Urgency definitely decreased. Overall; good result. Have been on the end for 6 months; only side effect is the lack of ejaculate but sensation during orgasm still very good. No other side effects. For the first time, I have been diagnosed with a slightly enlarged prostate on the right side only. Is this due to the med? 73 y.o. Read More Read Less

Was having problems with frequent urination. Having to get up 2 to 3 times a night. Urologist recommended giving rapaflo a try. After the first couple days I thought this was the ticket. I felt I was able to deal with the side efects. However after being on this for about 4 weeks I encountered a round of extreme dizziness. I was unable to get out of bed for about 4 hours. Scared the crap out of me!!! Stopped taking rapaflo immediately. It has now been 2 weeks and the side effects have gone away for the most part. I will not take this again.Being disabled like that was to much for me!Looking for alternatives now???Read More Read Less

Far better flow and no (for me) troublesome reductions in blood pressure. Much improved over the old Doxazocin, which, I hope, is gone for good.
