I don't know what Doctors are telling their patients but this product is thick for a reason. My doctor prescribed this to my child and explained that it's thick because it needs to last longer on the cornea of the eye in order to penetrate it and cure it within 2 days. He told me BEFORE using it, to flick the bottle with my wrist so the liquid is near the tip, problem solved. Don't just use the sa...

Get a different anti biotic. There are plenty out there that work just as well. These drops are horrible. I've been using them for pink eye and they are incredibly hard to self administer. I have had several eye infections, burnt cornea etc and I know there are better drops available. Don't use these.

Like everyone says this med is so thick and cant hardly get it out. Naturally if you cant get it out then it might not completely go into your childs eye. Also, his pink eye ended up coming back. They need to take this junk off of the market and you would think the dr's know how the med is

It was a little thick but my DR explained that was to keep the medicine on my eye where it would work better. Also was very comfortable. Kept eye moist. Cleared up super fast.

These were too hard to put in my 13 month old's eyes as the solution was too thick. It was hard enough putting thinner drops in his eye from his previous pink eye a few months ago, let alone thick drops.

They day I started using this, felt like I had the flu. Next day woke up feeling fine, then used the drops and once again, flu, took day 3 to figure out, that my dry scratchy throat, fever, cold chills and cough was being caused by the eye drops. Who would have thought that it is some of the rare side effects, from a drop in they eye

The drops work ok if you can get them in your eyes. Drops are really thick and if you can't get your kid to hold really still it rolls off the eye. With other thinner eye drops, you can even use them with your eyes closed, open the eye lid and blink it in. That doesn't work with this stuff. The lack of ease of use prevents the medicine from being as effective as it needs to be. Also pricier than some of the other pink eye meds.

I was taking antibotics and the sulfa eyedrops and my pink kept getting worse went back to the dr. was given this and my pink eye has cleared up. While its quite thick, for an adult I highly recommend it , my eyelid swelling has gone down and my double vision has went away since taking these drops.

The first few times I used this medication, I had great difficulty getting any drops out of the bottle. I found that storing the bottle UPSIDE DOWN between times I was using it, made the delivery of the medication significantly easier.

Drops are thick so just keep your eyes closed for about 15 seconds and it will soak in. These drops cured my pink eye in both eyes in 3 days from tearing of eye and nasty crusty eye boogers to bright pure white! I highly recommend!!!

I like the thinner drops better for my 12 month baby. These are hard to squeeze out fast & are more like a gel so they do not absorb into eye fast enough...or even at all from what I can tell. Will ask pediatrician to switch meds at f/u visit tomorrow.

These drops are very thick and not very easy to squeeze out. They are being used for my 20 month old that had infection in both eyes. Because they are so thick it makes it difficult to get them in his eye since he is not really thrilled with the process to begin with. Today is day 4 and I have not really seen a great deal of improvement in his eyes. I will give it another day or two before I call the doctor to have something else prescribed.
