Now 6 months into use of Linaclotide (Constella here in UK) Previously needed large doses of laxative every day - since starting Linaclotide, I have never needed a laxative, but also never had diarrhoea. Brilliant.

I suffered for years, I took it daily for over a year and now I take it 3x/week. I love it, yes it causes diarrhea but what I have gone thru with impactions and not going for 1 week, the surgeries to correct the damage of straining for years...I will take those loose movements any day. Now I am more regular with the help of Constella. Thank you, I am so much happier & have a better outlook in life.

I have been using Constela as and when needed for the past 3 years. It is really great. I tried various other laxatives, did not work much. Using 1 tablet when it is necessary is working well for me. One time I was taking it almost daily now I could manage once or twice a week

I suffer from severe fecal impaction and was taking large doses of laxatives that hardly worked. After one week on constella, I stopped all other laxatives. Been on it now for five weeks.

I had been taking a herbal tea every evening and 4-5 tablets of Senokot. Trying Constella now but seriously thinking of going back to what I was doing before as I only feel bloated, great fullness, and still constipated. At first it worked but I was wheening off my original products, but once I got off everything, except the Constella, nothing is happening. Little tiny bits. No satisfaction and quite uncomfortable. It does make a difference on how you will feel if you take on empty stomach.

I was on 145ug and had a difficult time with it. Always caused Major Diarrhea. I mean its effective, just causes "a fake stomach bug" with bloating, gas, and as mentioned severe diarrhea. I had to literally have medication to counteract the Linzess 2 hours after I took it to avoid prolonged hell.
