I found this med relieved my cough and promoted rest (yes, with drowsiness...but I welcomed that after 5 days of deep chest congestion with cough). As long as I'm not working or driving I will continue to take this for cough :)).

Have used it once. Just starting a daily dose of it.

Used for brochitis worked well, but caused drowsiness

Excellent cure for bronchitis.

This worked really good for my bad cough and colc, better that anything I've purchaes over the counter.

Prescribed along with anti-biotic for bronchitis--1 tsp 4-6 hrs if needed. Worked great--didn't taste too bad.

As we know medications effect everyone differently, yes it does make you drowsy, but bottom line it worked for me, within minutes i started feeling better i had a horrible flu with bloodcurdling cough especially at night, two days later i was almost 100%, but what works on some people might not work on all

the med is yellow and to watery

First it taste so bad.Second i was only able to sleep 2-3 hours at a time then i would wake up with a really bad coughing spell. doctor changed me to hycodan

Stops my cough and runny nose due to allergies. I only take it at bedtime and not every night. It helps me sleep without coughing. Noticed very dry mouth after taking it.

i haave lung cancer and this was given to me by my dr. so far not so good.

I had a upper respiratory infection and felt like total crap up until I began taking this particular medicine. Tastes great too!!

I've only been on this medication for two days now... and I feel like I'm floating. Works wonderfully for my cough, tastes TERRIBLE. I can't get over the sensation that I'm floating on a cloud watching everything that's happening around me. All I want to do is curl up with a blanket and go back to sleep for ten years... Hopefully this will pass!

My doctor put me on the cough syrup and it gave me blurred vision and I was also taken to the hospital because I thought I was having a heart attack. They put me on a heart monitor did EGK, CAT scan of my head, xray. All the doctors in the ER keep asking why I was on this for bronchitis. I had the scare of my life. Just to find out that my heart was fine but had a reaction to the syrup. So if you get blurred vision or fast heart rate stop taking and to the ER.

I had a bad cold with endless coughing keeping me up all night. This will stop it for a while but then I wake up coughing again. Not completely satisfied with thisproduct.

i developed a chest cold/cough that woudl trigger brochospasms. The dr prescribed this to stop the cough so i could breathe again, but it only worked well for the first few days and by a week's time, it basically just made me dizzy and did not sto my cough.
