My doctor prescribed Oxaprozin for my pain associated with sacro iliac (hip) joint inflammation. It has helped quite a bit. I've noticed that if I miss taking a dose for a day or two, my symptoms come back quickly. But while I'm on it, it's barely noticable. No negative side effects noticed so far.

Oxaprozin has worked well to treat inflamation & arthritis. Prescription provider changed manufacturers & I found the new drug inaffective. Upon complaint, the provider changed back to the original manufacturer,& once again the drug is working for me.

I twisted my ankle 4 weeks ago, doctor gave me dav's and an anti-inflammatory.. second time around to the doctor she prescribed Oxaprozin, I don't like it. After taking it for 2 days, it gave me nothing but head aches. I slept all day just to get rid of the head ache. I wouldn't recommend this medication to anyone.

This medication causes stomach pain, but I now take it with Zantac and that helps ease the condition.
