I've been very lucky using this drug for my severe back spasms. My back spasms are due to an injury sustained when my bicycle collided with a Tundra pickup that turned in front of me. Humans don't make good hood ornaments. Before taking metaxalone, I was going 2 and 3 days without sleep because I couldn't lay down. This had been going on for about 3 months. I was at wit's end, what little was left...
I was afar to use this meds because I have seizures which I have not had in over 40 yrs and donot plan to have one because this med.I have sleeping now without add to it.than I have headach when I wake in the morning so why add to it.my stomach get upset more time than I can count so why make it worsen.

I was given this drug in the hospital after spinal fusion surgery and then an Rx for home. I tried it for several days taken as directed and it has no effect in relieving muscle spasms

1 tablet 3 times daily. 800 mg each. hurts my stomach ,whether i eat or not. does not give me much help. only if i take 2-3 tablets at each dosage. but then really bad stomach pain. not worth taking unless less resort

I've had back pain for over 10 years after a bad fall. I've been taking metaxalone 800mg for 3 weeks. This is the only drug I found that doesn't make me too sleepy that I can't function. I take it two/three times a day. So far so good.

After taking this medication, i would wake up in the middle of the night very dizzy & the next day I would have a Terrible headache.

I am a fall victim who hit hard tile. While trying to help the headaches I started Metaxalone and could not sleep, lay down or sit up, I felt numb and sort or "out of body" sensation from hips down. The second day I am experiencing nervous shaking of my legs like crazy. This is a strange overall feeling. No headache, but I do not care for the side effects.
