My husband has had angina for several years and it has done wonders for his condition. He has only been on it for a little over a week and has had to take only one nitro pill and he had only been on it for two days,but has not had angina since.

i .was put on ranexa for chronic angina. i immediately started to have very dark urine and very dry mouth . i am drinking almost gallon of water a day but only helps allite.

Appeared to lessen the pressure. I still take the drug , per instructions from my MD. Stents releived pressure and shortness of breath.

Just had dosage increased from 500 to 1000 x2. Looking for what side effects to expect....So far I've only seen 1 pleasant side-effect which for now is fine!

I took 500mg twice a day for one week did fine without any side affects. Then went to 1000mg twice a day and since then I have had heartburn and even my medicine for heartburn has not worked. Going to talk to the doctor about that. Still short of breath and have unsteady walking and leg cramps at night.

I have had many problems with my heart over the past few years. I find that I do not have any chest pain or very little while taking this drug.

Does anyone have problems with hair loss and constipation.. Since I have been on it my hair is falling out and terrible constipation.. No angina which is the only good thing..
