Elaine Koenig, MPH, is president of the Greater Atlanta Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and director of educational programs for the department of health policy and management at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. A five-year breast cancer survivor and the mother of three young adult women, Koenig is committed to the eradication of breast cancer as a life-threatening disease and advocates for increased awareness, support, and early detection.
