Discount plans

In a discount plan, you pay a monthly fee to qualify for discounts within a network of doctors and other health providers. Discount plans are not health insurance and do not pay your health care costs so they don't have to follow the same rules as qualified health insurance plans. Be sure to thoroughly read the policy before enrolling.
