J. Paul Sanders, MD, received his BA degree in Biology from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas in 1969. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas in 1973. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch/John Sealy Hospital System in Galveston, Texas from 1973 to 1974. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch/John Sealy Hospital System in Galveston, Texas from 1974 to 1976. He completed a fellowship in Clinical Immunology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland from 1976 to 1977. He was a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1976. Since 1977, he has been in private practice in Internal Medicine in Dallas, Texas.
