Jonathan Mintz, an assistant managing editor at WebMD, is a journalist with extensive experience as a producer, editor, and writer. He is responsible for editing copy on WebMD, including news and features.
Before joining WebMD, Mintz was a supervising producer at CNN International, where he helped oversee production of the network's global newscasts. He also served as chief copy editor and as a newswriter for the network's anchors. While at CNN, Mintz covered stories ranging from the outbreak of bird flu to the war in Iraq.
Mintz began his journalism career in the New York and Washington bureaus of ABC News. He was a researcher in the network's political unit, contributing to the coverage of presidential election campaigns. He received a BA degree in history from Columbia University.
