Kate Rope is an award-winning freelance journalist and author whose work has appeared in many publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time, and CNN.
Rope is author of Strong as a Mother: How to Be Happy, Healthy and (Most Importantly) Sane From Pregnancy to Parenthood. She is co-author (with Alan Alda) and co-executive producer of the Audible Original Soldiers of Science: The Vietnam-era Veterans Who Saved Millions of Lives.
Rope has worked at numerous regional and national publications, including The Bangkok Post and LIFE magazine. She graduated with a BA from Occidental College and lives in Atlanta with her husband and two daughters.
