Kim Sanchez is WebMD's St. Louis staff reporter, covering health and medical news throughout the metro area.

Before coming to WebMD, Kim wrote for publications including the Los Angeles Times, New York Newsday, the Chicago Sun-Times, and the Dallas Morning News. She covered a wide variety of stories on topics ranging from elderly care to New York's cockroach problems. A member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, she speaks fluent Spanish.

Kim has a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in journalism from University of Missouri-Columbia.
