Lara Englebardt Metz, MS, RD, CDN has a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from New York University. She completed her dietetic internship at New York Methodist Hospital in affiliation with New York University and has experience working in both clinical and private settings counseling clients with a variety of nutrition-related issues. Her areas of expertise are weight loss and pre/postnatal nutrition. She offers a lifestyle-based approach to nutrition and health.
Metz is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the Greater New York Dietetic Association, Nutrition Entrepreneurs, the Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group, and the Women's Health and Reproductive Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. She has contributed to national and magazines including Thebump.com, Glamour and Life and Style. She lives in New York City, where she is a nutritionist at Keri Glassman, A Nutritious Life, a nutritional counseling and consulting practice.
