Mario Garcia, MD, is the director of the echocardiographic laboratory and a staff cardiologist in the cardiac imaging section in the department of cardiovascular medicine at The Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine, and the National Board of Echocardiography. In his clinical practice, Garcia has developed a special interest in evaluating and treating patients with valvular native and prosthetic valve disease, hypertrophic and restrictive cardiomyopathies, and pericardial disease.
