Mary Donkersloot, RD, is founder and director of Personal Nutrition Management in Beverly Hills, Calif. Over the past 15 years, Donkersloot has provided nutrition education programs to medical centers, community health organizations, corporations, and individuals.

Donkersloot is the former director of the Pritikin Hospital Plan in San Diego, Calif. She completed professional chef training at the Epicurean Cooking School in Los Angeles and has two cookbooks to her credit: "Fast Food Diet: Quick and Healthy Eating at Home and On the Go" and "The Simply Gourmet Diabetes Cookbook." Her consulting work focuses on healthy lifestyle changes and diet improvement, specifically diabetes, weight control, and disordered eating as well as other fitness and nutrition issues.
