Peter A.S. Johnstone, MD, is a professor of radiation oncology and hematology/oncology at Emory University in Atlanta. He also serves as the director of the Cancer Survivorship Program at the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory. In 2004, Johnstone was selected by the Georgia Cancer Coalition as a "Distinguished Cancer Scholar." A physician acupuncturist as well, Johnstone has published extensively on the use of complementary therapies for cancer symptom management. He is Editor-in-Chief of the bi-monthly magazine Current Problems in Cancer.
