Randy Gross, RN

Randy Gross, RN has been working as a nurse for numerous years in New York City. He currently holds certifications as a Clinical Specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing and as an Advanced Certified Oncology Nurse. Additionally, he is a certified Reiki Practitioner.

For the past decade, his clinical work has been focused on women with breast cancer- those women undergoing and surviving treatment. Furthermore, one of his areas of expertise is women identified as being at higher risk. He has spoken nationally on various topics regarding breast cancer and women's health; additionally, he has expertise in issues such as menopausal symptoms and osteoporosis after treatment, and the anxiety associated with being at higher risk. He has authored numerous articles on breast cancer risk, screening, prevention & treatment published in journals and chapters for several nursing textbooks. For many years, he managed the clinical care of women participating in the BCPT & STAR chemo-prevention research trials.

He currently has returned to inpatient clinical care of oncology patients while pursuing his 3rd degree in nursing- as a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health at Columbia University in New York City.
