Robert Katz, MD, is an associate professor of medicine at Rush Medical College. A graduate of Columbia University and the University of Maryland Medical School, he completed his internal medicine training at Washington University Medical Center and his fellowship training in rheumatology at the Johns Hopkins Medical School.
Katz is the former president of the Chicago Rheumatism Society and chairman of the medical advisory board of the Lupus Foundation of Illinois. He is listed in "Best Doctors in America."
Katz is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the Chicago Society of Internal Medicine. He is the author of many textbook chapters and articles in scientific and research journals.
Katz serves on the medical speaking faculty of several pharmaceutical companies.
