Sherry L. M. Jimenéz is a registered nurse, ASPO-certified childbirth educator, and member of a special editorial board of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). She is the author of several books, including The Pregnant Woman's Comfort Guide, and over 150 articles, which have appeared in such magazines as American Baby, Family Circle, and Modern Bride. In addition to writing, Jimenéz is a childbirth education consultant and lecturer.
