Silvana Martino, DO, is one of the nation's premier medical oncologists and the John Wayne Cancer Institute's authority on breast cancer.
Martino received her bachelor of science degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and her doctor of osteopathy degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship at the Detroit Osteopathic Hospital and her residency in internal medicine at Botsford Hospital in Farmington, Mich. Martino completed a fellowship in oncology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
