Steve Kmetko is co-anchor of the entertainment shows "E! News Daily" and "E! News Weekend." In addition, he is anchor of "E! Entertainment Report," which is fed daily to NBC affiliates nationally.
Kmetko started working as a weekend anchor and reporter for WAVE-TV in Louisville, Kentucky, before joining KCBS-TV in Los Angeles. In 1988, he won a Los Angeles Press Club Award in the Best Entertainment Reporting category. Prior to working for E!, Kmetko covered entertainment for "CBS This Morning" and hosted the syndicated entertainment programs "Studio 22" and "The Rock 'n' Roll Evening News." With E!, Kmetko has traveled the world over, covering film festivals and film productions in Berlin, Cannes, Paris, and London. "Fortunately for me, entertainers do not remain in Los Angeles," says Kmetko. "They film movies and attend film festivals around the world. I have had the opportunity to travel to some wonderful places."
