Weight Watchers Magazine agrees with him; they have awarded the food at Lake Austin Spa Resort their five star review, and both Cooking Light Magazine and Bon Appetit have featured Conlan and his tasty, low-fat creations in their magazines. Bringing 25 years experience to Lake Austin Spa Resort, Conlan takes the guesswork out of healthy eating by creating gourmet meals full of flavor and texture. On any given week guests can enjoy eating Thai, Cajun, Classic Mediterranean, Tex-Mex or Italian cuisine as well as a sound choice of vegetarian dishes and incredible desserts. In addition to the resort’s menu and daily specials, he shares his wealth of knowledge with our guests by leading cooking demonstrations in our fully equipped Demo Kitchen. Guests can watch him perform his magic as he replaces high-calorie ingredients with healthy alternatives that make the outcome just as delicious and satisfying. At the end of every cooking demonstration, guests are encouraged to sample the dishes, which is definitely the best part.
