Tracy Shuman is a cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and was honored as the Outstanding Life Science graduate. After obtaining her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia she went on to complete a residency in family medicine with Family Medicine of Saint Louis.
After residency she joined the U.S. Air Force and worked in Layton, Utah for three years. During her active duty employment she focused on treating patients with severe asthma and allergies and served as medical director for the emergency medical technician staff. She is a board certified family practitioner.
Shuman is currently active providing health care and overseas travel medicine for government employees. She also helps to provide comprehensive health care to the students of Washington University.
