L. Jay Turkewitz, MD, is a neurologist in Louisiana and the British West Indies.
Turkewitz graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine in Massachusetts. He then completed his residency in neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York.
Turkewitz is the associate dean for basic science at the Medical University of the Americas. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and a diplomate of the American Academy of Pain.
Turkewitz is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
