Please stop using stims!!! I learned the hard way, I ended up in ICU at Mayo Clinic. I would start my day taking 60mg. of Ritalin, then start making the rounds to the stores around town. I was averaging 8 to 10 pints of Monster, Red Bull, ect. Its not worth Heart problems, insomnia, and most people have a whole range of other Health related troubles. please...do like our Parents and family did, co...

I like the 90% of Americans who use caffeine used it to help wake me up in the mornings. My overuse of caffeine has caused immense health problems for me. It was the leading cause of my Acid Reflux (GERD) disorder. My symptoms are rare but becaume commonplace with persistent use. My symptoms include vomiting, nautiousness, gas (excessive burping), nervous twitching, and depression/anxiety. I won't...

I have found that 1 caffine pill (200mg) along with IB takes my morning migraine headaches away in about 30 min most days. I only use over the counter pain killers and when I do not use the caffine with the IB then it won't work. Reading this site I now know why. Of course, this means that when I fell a migraine coming on at night I just have to endure until the morning because if I take my usual concoction I will not be able to sleep...this is the only down side of taking caffine pills to releive my headaches. THe other up side though is it helps me to wake up and get my day started. everything has it's ups and downs...use in moderation. Read More Read Less

I have had migraines for over 13 years ago. I have tried every treatment that there is out there, most have not helped at all. My migraines are everyday from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. The first doctor I saw suggested caffeine pills, they maybe my heart flutter to much. Then he suggested for me to drink coffee or soda all day, that has worked to keep the migraines where I can handle them. I am now trying an injectable and it scars me, so I drink coke for most of my day.

I have a long history of migraines sometimes with allergies/changes of weather/locations. Now the prescriptions drugs do not work well and I am finding caffeine pills work best - not drinking anything with caffeine as that does not work for me. Also I rarely drink anything with caffeine in it on a daily basis. Some times I can take 1/4 pill and sometimes 1/2.

I've been using Zantrex 3 for over 5 years, a dosage of just 2 (early mornings) to maintain a weight, for energy and also for mental alertness, and other than the usual caffeine withdrawl in strong coffee, have never experienced major side effects to date.

This method of losing weight was not very successful. The caffeine really didn't make a difference in my weight. However, it made me more awake and "hyper".

Most people take this because it wakes them up and causes them to focus. However it causes anxiety and just ughness for me. There are better drugs out there with better effects that are less damaging to your health. Adrafinil is one of them. Look into it. It's legal, more effective than caffeine with less health risk.

Until they actually diagnosed my 4 year old with ADHD we were having a heck of a time trying to keep him under control. Caffine was one way that we could get him to chill out. If I gave him a mountain dew or 1/2 of a red bull he was able to sit and watch a movie or take a nap.

I love Diet Turbo Tea. I drink 1 DTT when I first wake up in the morning to start the day. Before my workouts I will drink another DTT. I have never had any bad experiences with DTT.

Hello! I'm a 25 yr old female with chronic asthma and when I drink coffee it cleans out my respiratory system by breaking up the mucus that my body automatic makes. When asthmatics get sick i's pretty much game over for us but when you do drink a cup of coffee when you feel like your going to have an attack it's a great reliver until you get to the hospital. Overall, I say that coffee is wondering if you have a chronic respiratory problem like I do. The only downfall is that it stains your teeth so you have to keep up your teeth by either brushing them after you finish drinking or go to the dentist every three months to get a whitening.Read More Read Less

I drink coffee because I love the taste, but I don't have to have it to wake up. Sometimes I don't have my first cup until an hour or more after I've been up for the day. As for headaches, I find I get a headache if I go without caffeine, but using caffeine to relieve it doesn't work. Once I get a "caffeine withdrawal" headache, 'medicating' myself with it doesn't take it away.

All caffeine drinks are not equal. Not including simple mixes such as soda, or "Red Bull" like drinks which add caffeine, drinks like Tea, Coffee, and Chocolate (Cocoa) are for the most part derived from simple beans. Because beans haven't begun development yet they contain primarily simple compounds. Tea however is derived from a leaf. Leaves are complex factories that produce hundreds of compounds... one of which is Theanine. This compound counters the bad effects of Caffeine (more or less depending on leaf content). As a result Tea should be considered different from other drinks. Also if consumed as a whole leaf either steeped multiple times (Chinese method known as Gongfu) Tea provides huge doses of antioxidents with decreasing levels of Caffeine allowing Tea to “Wake you in the morning, keep you throughout the day, and put you to sleep soundly at night.” This due to decreasing Caffeine, and the “soporific” (sleep inducing) effect of Theanine.Read More Read Less

I believe cola does not cause direct damage to the vocal cords. Caffeinated drinks acting as a diuretic remove hydration from the body and that de-hydration can cause great discomfort and lead to damage of the vocal cords.

It doesn't help my short attention span seemingly at all. The end. Use a bit of exercise, planning, and motivation building as healthier alternatives to help you deal with your tasks.

if i don't take in a certain amount of coffee per day, i get headaches, i find that drinking coffee helps with my headaches. it is proven that caffine helps reduce swelling of the vessels and arteries in the brain.
