I use 1 tablespoon in a fruit (strawberries, bananas, berries, etc) and veggie (carrots and spinach) smoothie. It really curbs my appetite for sweets and salty snacks, as the smoothies keep me feeling full for a long time. I blend the smoothies in a powerful blender, so the seeds are not who ... The fiber effect was gentle but my kidney seem to produce darker urine and I already take a beta blocker for hypertension. My blood pressure shot up and I got a blinding headache after a week of 1 table spoon a day of chia seeds. I may try reducing the amount. One table spoon a day is much to powerful for me

79 years old and felt it. Been taking a tbsp per day for 3 months and have experienced greater energy, lowered blood pressure, overall well being. I took a short break and blood pressure went sky high. Needless to say, I returned to Chia immediately. Thank you, Chia
