Babies tend to be most energetic in the morning and early afternoon. Kick counts are best done after you have had something to eat or drink and are lying on your side with hands on your belly, concentrating on counting each kick. There's no need to worry if your babies are slightly more or less active, but if you don't feel at least 10 kicks in any two-hour period, call your doctor.
