The first thing you should do if you suspect you're in premature labor is to call your doctor. The doctor can tell you whether you need to take it easy, or head straight to the hospital.
Signs of premature labor include contractions every 10 minutes or more often, low back pain, menstrual-like cramps, leaking of fluid or blood, pelvic pressure, and less movement from your baby.
