Kathleen Fordyce is a freelance writer for WebMD. She has been a journalist and copywriter for more than two decades writing about health and wellness.
Fordyce was a journalist at The Miami Herald for several years before working in-house as a copywriter for two large healthcare systems (one in Miami and one in New York). For the past decade, she has run her own boutique copywriting agency where she writes for several long-term clients. Her projects have included collaborating with a tech company and innovative health system to create a consumer-focused app and serving as the associate editor for a daily content site for one of Maria Shriver’s non-profit projects, The Shriver Report.
When she’s not typing away at her desk, Fordyce can be found with her nose in a book, on a walk with her husband and daughter, or freezing at an ice rink watching her son play hockey.
