Uses

What is Sotyktu used for?

Sotyktu (deucravacitinib) is commonly used for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

Sotyktu may also be used for other conditions as determined by your healthcare provider.

How does Sotyktu work (mechanism of action)?

Sotyktu blocks a substance in the body called tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2) from working. TYK2 plays an important role in the process that leads to swelling (inflammation). By blocking TYK2, Sotyktu can reduce the swelling (inflammation) that occurs in certain conditions, such as plaque psoriasis.

How is Sotyktu supplied (dosage forms)?

Sotyktu is available as 6 mg oral tablets that are taken by mouth.

How should I store Sotyktu?

Sotyktu should be stored at room temperature, between 68 F to 77 F (20 C to 25 C). It can be exposed to temperatures between 59 F to 86 F (15 C to 30 C) for shorter periods of time, such as when transporting it. Store in a cool, dry place.
