    If you are:

    Pregnant:

    Only When Necessary: CURRENT EVIDENCE SUPPORTS USE OF INHALED CORTICOSTEROIDS FOR ASTHMA TX IN PREG

    Nursing:

    Precaution: MAY CAUSE ADVERSE EFFECTS IF EXCRETED. SYSTEMIC FORMS ARE EXCRETED.

    An adult over 60:

    management or monitoring precaution: Prolonged high dose increases risk of diabetes, osteoporosis

    Giving Vancenase AQ Spray, Non-Aerosol to a child under 12:

    management or monitoring precaution: Safety and efficacy not established age < 4 years. Decreased growth velocity.

    management or monitoring precaution: May reduce growth rate. Monitor growth and use lowest effective dose. Increased incidence of fever, nasopharyngitis, upper respiratory infection in pediatrics.
